Who We Are
Void is a small company, and our job is simple. Create PC games under the RPG status.
Our team is actually quite small, so we all have more than one position. You might think Void is run by a millionaire and a group of 30-year-old techies. You're wrong. It is (most unusually) run by a 13-year-old and the (what we like to call) 'Ideas Database'.
How are the games made?
Void games are created using technology from ASCII, and our own upgrades. The game production is powered via a simple home computer (Windows XP, 5.01.2600). We don't believe in 'staff file-sharing' (and, it's too complicated). First, the ideas are stored on a text editor (mostly Microsoft Notepad). Secondly, the main database information is created. Thirdly, the maps, dungeons and the other main stuff in the game, such as events are created. Fourthly, we make the maps better, change ideas and so on. The Ideas Database is very important in this procedure.
Finally, the finished product is all put into one self-extracting *.exe file, and distributed for download here at Void.
Why are Void here?
James' (President, Producer) dream is to work for Nintendo. He's been a fan of Nintendo ever since he played his first video game when he was two-years-old, Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link (NES). What better way to start than create a small PC productions company? Then started Void. The whole point of Void is to create games and distribute them to friends, family and net-nerds.
